Override Burgiss Managed Data Values, Funds Console Released to the Private i Platform and More!

This weekend, we released important functionality to the Private i Platform for Burgiss Transparency Data users and Burgiss Portfolio Management users.

Notably, Burgiss Transparency Data users can override specific Burgiss Managed Data (BMD) values for a Burgiss Managed Asset, Entity and Organization. BMD is data Burgiss captures, enriches and licenses on behalf of clients and it is the key component in the integration of the Burgiss Transparency Data service within the Private i Platform. With this new functionality, users with the appropriate rights can override an asset’s industry focus, an entity’s name, an organization’s domicile and much more! Any BMD value overridden will be reflected throughout the platform, in dashboards, reports and the Private i Platform Excel Add-in.

Additionally, for Burgiss Transparency Data users, the Entities > Details page has been redesigned and includes the US Region for entities located within the United States. Lastly, we enhanced the Valuation Movement chart to a waterfall style chart within the Summary/Statistics and Analytics tab of the Holdings-based Variance Analysis dashboard. Burgiss Transparency Data users can use this chart to view the beginning and ending valuation, the change in total invested and proceeds as well as the change in valuation not resulting from the change in proceeds and/or total invested.

As a final point applicable to Burgiss Portfolio Management users who subscribe to Funds Console, this module is now available within the Private i Platform. Administering a fund of funds is a complex activity, and the Funds Console provides the ability to explore fund activity from the fund of funds level, the investor level and the investment level. Users can allocate contributions and distributions easily as well as manage investors and investments in dedicated areas of the module.
