Burgiss is proud to partner with Help for Children (HFC), an organization supported by the alternative investment industry, to help aid in the fight against child abuse. Child abuse is estimated to affect 40 million children worldwide every year. HFC has given more than $51 million in grants over the last 20 years to effective child abuse prevention and treatment interventions.
HELP FOR CHILDREN
PEBBLES PROJECT
Burgiss sponsors the Pebbles Project, a program enriching the lives of disadvantaged children and families in the Winelands farming communities in the Western Cape of South Africa. With an emphasis on education, the program impacts the lives of children and their families by providing support and intervention in five key areas: education, health, nutrition, community, and protection.

Burgiss works with the Hudson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), an independent, non-profit organization committed to advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children. CASA works through trained community volunteers to ensure that needed services are available to foster children, while helping to move them toward safe and permanent homes.

Each year, Burgiss sponsors Concerts in the Park in Hoboken, New Jersey, as part of a program administered by the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs. In past years, Burgiss has individually sponsored events featuring the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, as well as Julio Fernandez & Friends.

Burgiss has partnered with SAVE Foundation, a NPO which works to enrich, educate, and empower various disadvantaged communities across Africa, to create and lead initiatives in and around the Stellenbosch and Winelands area. The initiatives, centered around educational enrichment, aim to provide youth with opportunities to identify their passions, research ideas, improve their communication skills, and raise their confidence so that they can realize their potential and open doors to greater opportunities in life.
SAVE FOUNDATION

Burgiss is proud to support our local shelter, located near our headquarters in Hoboken, New Jersey. They shelter 50 people nightly, serve over 500 meals daily, host 1,000 showers weekly, and provide such support services as food, shelter, case management, counseling, job and life skills training, creative arts workshops, emergency homelessness prevention grants, and permanent supportive housing solutions.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra connects the people and diverse communities of New Jersey through the transformative power of live orchestral music. The generosity of individuals, corporations such as Burgiss and foundations makes everything they do possible and enables more than 140,000 New Jerseyans to experience the NJSO and live music each year.
