New Fund > Accounting > Valuations Page!
We are excited to announce the release of the Fund > Accounting > Valuations page! This page allows you to:
Enter valuations for multiple portfolios and dates without changing portfolio or date scoping.
Review related valuations during valuation entry to pro-actively identify entry errors.
Distribute valuations entered at the class level on a pro-rata basis.
In addition to these powerful features, we will be adding additional capabilities over time, including the ability to configure automated valuation entries for unit-based funds as well as bulk valuation entry.

New Transaction Type: Internal Fund Expense
We have introduced a new transaction type called Internal Fund Expense. This transaction type can be used to account for implicitly charged fees that do not result in any cash movement. Instead, the fee is paid by reducing the fund’s market value, resulting in a realized loss. Explicitly charged fees paid from an investor’s cash account or liquidity fund can be accounted for using the pre-existing Pay Fund Expense transaction type.
Advanced Permissions Support Now Available for Dashboards and Profiles
Advanced permission settings are now supported for all dashboards and profiles across the Caissa Platform. Advanced permissions allow you to specify which users or groups within your organization can view and/or edit the information you have curated.
This functionality was already available for portfolios and funds and can now be leveraged to manage access to dashboards and profiles platform-wide.
