Additional Burgiss Managed Pacing Models Released to the Private i® Platform, and More!

Over the course of the last few Private i Platform updates, we have increased the list of Burgiss Managed Pacing Models, enhanced Configurable Dashboards, and updated the Carbon Footprinting of Private Equity and Debts Funds dataset.

Our Portfolio Management users now have access to additional Burgiss Managed Pacing Models, which utilize the Burgiss Manager Universe (BMU) data in their estimations. The models, which are implemented in the form of Burgiss Managed Takahashi-Alexander Parameter Sets, can be used for projecting future contributions, distributions, and valuations. The additional parameter sets include sets that are based on more granular asset class and market focus classifications, sets that are based on the Q3 2021 BMU data, and sets that will always represent the most recently available estimates. Furthermore, all Burgiss Managed parameter sets now follow a naming convention that indicates the data used to calibrate them. The names include the period transactions are drawn from when estimating the parameters, such as 2021Q3, Current, and Combined Recessionary. Previously released parameter sets have been renamed with the appropriate period in their title and are reflected in any existing investment assignments.

Portfolio Management users can also now set any configurable dashboard as a favorite within Dashboards > Configurable Dashboards and take advantage of the improved Select Dashboard window. This window allows users to easily filter the list of configurable dashboards to see which ones they have created or marked as favorites, as well as any that were shared with them.

Lastly, the Carbon Footprinting of Private Equity and Debt Funds dataset has been updated, and the methodology has been enhanced, expanding the dataset to over 43,000 private companies in nearly 6,000 active private equity and debt funds.

As always, please contact Client Services or your relationship manager with any questions.
